The Eye and Ear has almost 90 different outpatient clinics for the diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of vision and hearing loss and provides a 24-hour emergency eye and ear, nose and throat service.
Every year the Eye and Ear cares for nearly 200,000 patients, with over 136,000 outpatients, over 42,000 emergency patients and over 14,000 inpatients. The hospital recently completed a major redevelopment to create a modern internal structure and to improve access for patients, visitors and staff.

About the Role
Fulltime positions commencing from February 2026 for 12 months
The Unaccredited ENT Registrar will provide high quality services to Otolaryngology patients of the Hospital within the limits of his/her experience and competence, whilst obtaining postgraduate skills in the assessment and treatment of Otology, Rhinology and Head and Neck conditions. The Registrar will attend the Emergency Department and ENT outpatient clinics, and have the opportunity to attend supervised operating lists. The Registrar will have access to senior clinicians and will have access to formal and informal teaching opportunities. The role includes teaching and supervision of junior medical staff and thus require solid ENT experience. Note that the role will require night, evening and weekend work.
Salary and conditions of employment for the clinical fellows will be in accordance with the Australian Medical Association (Victoria) Doctors-in-Training Agreement 2022-2026.
