About the Role
The Eye and Ear is seeking an inspiring and future-focused Manager, Nursing Education to lead and elevate our nursing education programs. This pivotal role provides strategic leadership, coordination and oversight of education for our nursing workforce, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, contemporary and evidence-based clinical training.
As the Manager, Nursing Education, you will:
- Lead, support and develop the Nursing Education Team to deliver best-practice clinical education.
- Identify emerging skills and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our workforce remains responsive, capable and future-ready.
- Drive innovation by embracing statewide, national and international advances in healthcare models and nursing education.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, ensuring staff have access to the latest educational technologies and professional development opportunities.
- Work closely with senior nursing staff to implement high-quality education initiatives that enhance outcomes for patients, carers and staff.
- Oversee the Registered Nurse Graduate Year Program and ensure junior nurses receive the clinical support needed for success.

About you
- Masters Degree in Nursing Education or a similar education qualification
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse - without notation
- Demonstrated, relevant experience of working at a senior level, Grade 4 or higher, in a Nursing Education Team
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high functioning nursing team
- Demonstrated experience of leading and implementing strategic level activities
- Demonstrated experience of coordinating nursing education programs
- Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning principles including curriculum development and administration
- Knowledge and ability to teach both theory and clinical skills
- Computer literacy and experience with E-Learning platforms
