About the Role
Reporting to the Executive Director People and Culture, this senior OD unit lead role has responsibility for the entire OD function. It will suit a high energy individual who will thrive on working from strategy to delivery and collaborating with the sector to mutually exchange knowledge, shared initiatives and opportunities.
The incumbent will be the Eye and Ear’s expert on workplace culture, staff reward and recognition, employee engagement, performance, learning and development, leadership development, workforce reporting, and diversity, equity and inclusion (particularly Victorian Gender Commissioner requirements).
The role works collaboratively within the People and Culture team and provides advice and support to leaders and the Executive Team on organisational development initiatives.
The role will support the delivery and execution of the Eye and Ear Strategic Plan and owns significant elements of the People and Culture Plan.
The role has a 0.4 indirect report who supports OD, particularly with HRIS administration.
About you
- Qualification in human resources, organisational development or equivalent (post graduate preferred)
- Very strong expertise as a senior Organisational Development practitioner in the listed areas of responsibility, with leadership experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary human resources, equity and inclusion principles
- Intermediate – Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team in a proactive and flexible manner, providing practical and customer focused services.
