About the Role

We are seeking a Patient Services & Access Administration Support Officer to provide high-quality, customer-focused administrative support across our Emergency Department, switchboard, admissions, outpatient booking unit, and specialist clinics.

This is a fast-paced, patient-facing role where you will play a key part in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for patients, carers and clinical teams.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide frontline customer service to patients, both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Support administrative functions across Emergency, Admissions, and Specialist Clinics
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry (including patient information and records)
  • Manage patient enquiries, concerns and escalations professionally
  • Coordinate bookings and support clinic workflows
  • Process patient payments and maintain accurate records
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
