PS&A Support - Specialist Clinics
About the Role
As a Patient Services & Access Support Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring a smooth, person-centred patient journey across our Specialist Clinics.
Working within the Patient Services & Access (PS&A) team, you’ll provide high-quality administrative and frontline support to patients, carers and referrers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional frontline customer service (face-to-face and phone)
- Manage referrals and waitlists in line with Department of Health access policies
- Schedule appointments in accordance with clinic guidelines and patient needs
- Respond to enquiries from patients, carers and referrers
- Ensure patients receive accurate and timely information
- Manage and escalate patient concerns appropriately
- Maintain high data accuracy (98%+) in patient systems
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Support continuous service improvement and quality initiatives
About you
You are a customer-focused administrator who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Solid computer literacy
- A positive, proactive and team-oriented approach
- Ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism
