About the Role

 

 

We are seeking an enrolled 2nd year pharmacy student to contribute to our pharmacy team’s specialist service. This role offers the chance to develop clinical skills and experience in pharmacy practice not typically covered in university courses or community pharmacy.

 

This position is responsible for supporting dispensary operations, patient education, stock management and distribution to the highest standards within hospital policy and legal requirements.

 

 

We are recruiting for 2 positions with the following qualifications and experience

 

  • Second-year student currently studying a Bachelor or Master of Pharmacy at an accredited Australian university
  • Experience working in an Australian community or hospital pharmacy dispensing prescriptions while adhering to legal requirements
    • Ability to assist with medicines enquiries and provide excellent customer care for our patients, many who are vision challenged
    • Outstanding communication skills and ability to work as part of a friendly and supportive team
    • Punctual, reliable and with demonstrable time management, problem solving and detail oriented task completion skills

This position is a temporary full-time, 5 week placement with potential for further casual employment for high performers

    • 1 placement to run from 16/11/2026 until 18/12/2026
    • 1 placement to run from 4/1/2027 until 5/2/2027
