About the Role

Grade 2 or 3 Pharmacy Technician

Full time ongoing position (40 hours/week with RDO every 4 weeks)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced hospital Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team and support quality and efficient pharmacy services.

This role is responsible for assisting with the distribution and dispensing of medicines, supporting the provision of clinical pharmacy services and manufacturing (sterile and non-sterile).

 

About you

To be successful for this role, you

  • Hold a Certificate III or IV in Hospital-Health Services Pharmacy Support or community pharmacy equivalent
  • Have minimum 1 year experience working in an Australian pharmacy setting
  • Demonstrate good communication and organisation skills
  • Have well developed computer literacy and Microsoft Office ability
  • Be a strong team player and contribute to the positive culture of our friendly department
  • Previous experience in aseptic manufacturing is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided for the successful applicant
