About the Role
Part Time (32 Hours per week) Fixed Term (to December 2026)
An opportunity exists to join the Revenue Team of the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. This role would suit an experienced team player who is focused on providing high quality customer service in the area of patient billing and cashiering.
The varied role of Revenue Officer includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
- Invoicing for goods and services provide to patients and other customers
 - Liaising effectively with a variety of clients including patients, doctors’ consulting rooms and health insurance companies.
 - Follow up of outstanding accounts
 - Receipting of payments – over the counter and electronic
 - Reconciliation of daily payments and preparation of the day’s banking
 
About You
To be successful in this role you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have an ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. You will also need to be customer focused and have a strong attention to detail.
Experience with hospital billing practices and cashiering processes will be highly regarded.
The position is part time (32 hours per week) commencing as soon as possible
