About the Role

The Service Improvement Coordinator, Ambulatory Services works in partnership with the Ambulatory Services clinical and non-clinical team to assist with the identification, development and implementation of service improvement initiatives and projects that will facilitate improved operational service delivery; with the flow on impact of meeting non-admitted service delivery targets and quality of care KPIs.  The role is also required to engage with and work across other departments within the Clinical Operations Division and with the Clinical Improvement Unit to assist with developing increased improvement capability and enable Ambulatory Services staff to solve problems and innovate services through the use of improvement methodology and application of project management knowledge and skills

 

About you

You are an experienced healthcare improvement professional who enjoys working collaboratively to influence change and deliver measurable results.

You will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working within the healthcare sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in service improvement, redesign, project management or change management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and their application in healthcare settings.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
  • Understanding of the Victorian public health system and specialist clinics environment.
