About the Role

The Cochlear Implant Clinic is a world-leader in providing comprehensive assessment of hearing loss and rehabilitation services for severely and profoundly hearing impaired adults and children.  The Clinic also contributes to research and teaching in the fields of cochlear implants, speech and hearing sciences.

The Cochlear Implant Clinic is currently seeking an Administration Team Leader for an ongoing position within the department.  This role will lead a team of administrative staff who are responsible for appointment bookings, referral management, arrival and departure of patients in clinic, Medicare billing, patient enquires and any other administrative work required in the clinic. The administrative team work closely with and support Surgeons and Allied Health Staff within the clinic.

 

About you

We are seeking a candidate with a high level of professionalism and initiative, who is motivated, is a quick learner and has had previous experience leading a team and working in a busy medical or front-of-house setting.  Experience in the use of PIMS or Health Smart IPM and ZedMed patient management systems would be highly regarded.
