Transport & Accommodation Coordinator
About the Role
We are seeking a Patient Transport & Accomondation Coordinator to play a key role in supporting patient care by coordinating safe, timely, and appropriate transport arrangements.
In this role, you will assess patient eligibility for transport services, manage transport bookings, process invoices and maintain accurate transport data. You will also support interpreting enquiries and bookings when required, contributing to a coordinated and patient-centred service.
This position is based on a regular schedule of 9:00 am – 4:36 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, with the opportunity for additional hours from Wednesday to Friday as required.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, has strong organisational skills, and is passionate about improving access and care for patients.
About you
- High level of customer service skills particularly via telephone
- High level of interpersonal communication skills with both clinical and non clinical staff
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Teams
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Exceptional relationship building with internal and external providers
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
